At The Airport:
Visa on Arrival – An Indonesian visa on arrival is available for most nationalities to kickstart your Jakarta tourism adventure:
– 17 USD or 250,000 IDR for 7 days (On arrival only)
– 50 USD or 855,000 IDR for 30 days (On arrival or online)
– 133 USD or 2,250,000 IDR for 60 days (On arrival or online)
Don’t forget to have dollars, euros or IDR on your flight. You need to pay this amount before immigration and there is no ATM in that room. Change is always given in IDR (at lousy exchange rates).
ATM Machine:
ATM from different banks can be found right after visiting the Jakarta tourism immigration office, as you’re walking towards the baggage claim area. It will give you 2M to 4M IDR per transaction.
Taxis:
All taxi companies have reserved parking spaces, with the name of the company displayed on a sign. Only take Blue Bird or Taxi Express, as they’re the cheapest and are honest.
